Spirit is willing, the flesh so weak,
But, You oh Lord, are all I seek.
Help me to, in You, stand strong,
And not do things I know are wrong.
Guide me as I go through the day,
Help me to choose the right way.
Put Your protection all around,
So, the devil can be cast down.
God, I can’t do this on my own,
Because, in failing, I am prone.
Oh Father, please hear my cries,
In You is where my freedom lies.
