A burning desire within my soul,
Oh. Father to know You more.
To see the plans You have for me,
And everything that is in store.
Longing to feel Your peace,
Surrounding me every day.
Oh, God I need You now,
Please help me not to stray.
Sometimes my soul gets weary,
And I feel the urge to quit.
At times, in this world below,
I don’t really seem to fit.
Lord, please hear my prayer,
As I seek Your holy face.
I surrender all my foolish pride,
