I feel so jaded, so weak and worn.
Between dream and reality I am torn.
I try to pray the darkness away,
Seems like my flesh gets in the way.
But…
I believe that brighter days are ahead,
I know the sun will shine again.
The darkness will be overcome,
With God on my side I’ve already won.
In the Father, I have eternal hope.
Through Him I have strength to cope.
Out of the darkness He leads me,
Into the light, His beauty to see.
