Foreign Land

I am a stranger in a foreign land
Hearing a language I don’t understand
I haven’t slept in many days
Everything here is one big haze

I am an outsider in this place
They see the confusion on my face
But they have their own lives to lead
So wandering aimlessly, I proceed

Afraid to go forward into the unknown
But I must keep traveling this path of stone
I cry into the night but no one can hear me
In this dreadful world, I am but a flea

The night falls like rain upon my weary soul
I’ve lost my way home, I’m losing control
All I long to do, is find my way home
But I fear it is my destiny to travel and roam
