Why am I so selfish, Why am I so vain,
To think that I have the right to complain.
My life is so much better than most I know,
I serve a risen Savior, Who let His mercy show.
He gave me a family and friends who love me,
I know I have a home with Him for all eternity.
He has blessed me more than i’ll ever know,
Given me hope to get through times so low.
I long to serve Him with an honest, humble heart,
And receive His love that He so unselfishly imparts.
I am thankful for His forgiveness when I do wrong,
Just to know he has been there with me all along.
