I sit here saddened to the point of tears.
Why is it so hard to see past all these fears?
Confusions surrounds, me it is everywhere.
At times when I pray it seems God is not there.
I’m tired of going one step forward and two back.
Is there something in my life that I lack?
I feel I am not reaching the goals that I could.
Will I ever live up to the standards I should?
Why do I take it out on God when I’m to blame?
I messed up my life it’s no one else’s shame.’
God has been more than gracious to me,
He allows me to live and gave me life eternally.
When life gets hard and seems to be caving in,
I need to remember with God on my side I win.
He will be victorious if I give Him my life’s reigns.
After all, He died on the cross to bare my pains.
