End of the Rope

You’re at the end of the rope,
The grip is becoming weak.
You have tried to make it work.
Now you’re swimming up a creek.

Life has really gotten you down,
Sometimes wondering what its worth.
You lie in your bed and question,
Why you are on this freaking Earth?

You’re walking through another day,
Making every attempt not to fall.
Often times going through the motions,
Not wanting to deal with life at all.

Crying out to the Heavenly Father,
Praying that He’d help you understand.
Why life is such a continual struggle,
And sometimes you can’t feel His hand.
