I am Dying on the inside.
The torment will not cease.
Dancing on my tattered soul,
Tearing it away piece by piece.
Hearing the echoes of laughter,
Ringing, loudly, in my head.
I have become my own enemy,
Sometimes wishing I were dead.
Crying out to God for strength,
To make it through another day.
For, He is the only One, who is able,
To take all of my pain away.
