I cry out
Breaking the silence
My tears fall
Like gentle rain
I reach for you
As you turn away
My heart bleeds
Like an open wound
I plead with you
For one more chance
My pride melts
Like winter’s snow
I hear your answer
Through a clenched jaw
My soul withers
Like a flower
