The leaves start falling
With their colorful hue
The sights of the season
Coming into full view
My favorite time of year
From football to pumpkins
The crisp chilly breeze
And warm chicken and dumplins’
A time when life seems so simple,
Family and friends come together.
Hayrides, bonfires, driving for miles
The joy of the crisp autumn weather.
I wish upon the falling leaves
That autumn days would never end,
With sweaters, warm coffee, and time
Spent with our family and friends.
